Can I change the method of payment after booking?
Once you’ve paid for your booking you won’t be able to change your payment details. However, if you’re within your cancellation policy, you can cancel and rebook your Sonder stay using an alternate method of payment.
I am using an accepted form of payment listed above, but the charge keeps getting declined. What's going wrong?
Follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Double-check that you’re entering your card details correctly.
- Ensure you have adequate funds in your account.
- Try a different card or a different payment option (e.g. instead of using a debit card, try Apple or Google Pay).

Does Sonder charge an exchange rate?
When traveling to a country outside of your residency, you’ll be subject to any and all exchange rates applied by your banking institution.
