Does Sonder pre-authorize my card?

Sonder requires a credit or debit card to be placed on file to cover pay-later reservation costs, additional services added throughout the stay, and incidentals. Depending on your banking institution, you may see a ‘pending’ charge on your account within 25 hours of your scheduled check-in. 

 

The hold is released or charged within 2 business days post-checkout, depending on any damages or incidental charges. For more information, see our Terms of Service

 

If you booked a group or business stay directly with us, you may be charged a security deposit, which will be agreed upon before booking with your sales representative. For more information, reach out directly to your sales contact or group organizer.
