Sonder requires a credit or debit card to be placed on file during pre-arrival verification for short-term bookings in case of incidentals. Depending on your banking institution, you may see a pre-authorization hold which shows as a “pending” charge.
The hold is released or charged within 5 business days post-checkout, depending on any damages or incidental charges. For more information, see our Terms of Service.
