Just don't go there The air conditioning controls were a mystery

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and more importantly IT HAS AIRCON! It was 30 degrees outside when we stayed but our room was already cooled to 17 degrees when we arrived, SO welcoming on such a hot day! The only little niggles we had -Room wasn't ready on arrival but we were early so that was possibly on us and you HAVE to show ID on arrival or you're not getting in. Luckily I had a picture of my drivers license otherwise we would have been sent on our way.

Breakfast is a private cafe in the hotel. We thought we had breakfast included but found out we had not. Cafe open to outsiders and prices are very high. Two breakfasts that we would normally have at Hotel came to £54!!! First room was awful so you did not even have a chair. We complained and got moved for second night but no staff available until after 10 am weekends. Won’t be going back

Nice rooms, staff were friendly but difficult to communicate with, especially in the restaurant. We asked for a lemonade but the girl had no idea what that was, when we said a sprite or 7up she still had no idea. Her colleague came over and explained they didn’t have that, we asked for an orange juice instead but they didn’t have that either. They seemed to only have a smoothie for £5.99, which was all very bizarre. We asked the guy in reception if the restaurant was air conditioned and he replied he didn’t know! Check-in also insisted on ID, which might be a hotel policy but it’s not a necessity for British people to carry it. Wouldn’t stay again.

Very spacious and comfortable room with high ceiling and comfortable bed. The room have a cozy area with sofa and desk. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was construction going on at the part of the hotel so all the carpets were covered with the plastic and the place have strong construction site vibe. Also, somehow the room was not maintained during our stay. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and location.

A nice enough hotel though a few renovations going on. Was well priced for the area and the breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Location was wonderful, Hotel was very low key, nothing fancy, super near to transportation and Kensington Gardens. However, under construction so no air conditioning, windows could open some and area was quiet. Breakfast cafe was lovely in the morning.

I appreciate its London prices but the place was very amateurish in the way they dealt with the whole visit. Pleasant staff, but I was not impressed. The place was being refurbished yet we were not notified of that before arrival. The breakfast is provided by another company which would not allow breakfast even though I had confirmation that it was included (thankfully Hotels.com did reimburse me) but still very embarrassing. I could go on but I am sure they will improve

Will be nicer once the refurbishments are complete. At the moment, although clean, there needs to be work on some of the fixtures and fittings. Our room was not made up by 3:00pm on the second day and as we needed to rest before going out again at 5:00pm we didn’t make a fuss. Staff were pleasant.
