Sunnybank Hotel | Hotel in Sunnybank, Queensland

“Other guests kept drinking alcohol till 02:00 AM two nights in a row”

“I had a pleasant stay at the Sunnybank Hotel accommodation. While the rooms are a little dated, everything was exceptionally clean, which made a great first impression. Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and the check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable, with clean towels, fresh bedding, and all the essentials for a short stay, including a fridge, microwave and air conditioning. As a guest, you also receive discounted dining at the Sunnybank Hotel bistro, which is a nice bonus if you don't feel like venturing out. The location is excellent, especially if you're visiting Sunnybank Private Hospital, which is right next door. Market Square and Sunnybank Shopping Centre are just across the road, offering an enormous choice of restaurants, cafés and shops within easy walking distance. The only minor drawback is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear some muffled conversations from neighbouring rooms. That said, the guests during my stay were respectful and quiet, so I still enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable and well-located place to stay that offers great value for a short visit. I'd happily stay here again.”

“Great location close to everything”

“Suited our needs for an overnight stay. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were a little dated but were comfortable and suited our requirements The Hotel was excellent and the meals were very good and well priced”

“Parking is very good Shops across the road”

“Very comfortable and clean.”

“The bed was hard. The bathroom fittings were old and falling apart.”

“I realise it is an older hotel but the bathroom looked like very little had been done to it in the past 50years. The shower had obviously been repaired at some point an actually had a very unattractive checker plate panel in the middle of the wall. The soap holder was very loose and couldn't hold anything at all. The main room has obviously been repainted and recarpeted which was nice. We were very disappointed there wasn't a toaster as that what we had planned for breakfast. The eyelet curtains are falling apart and should be replaced. For the price that was paid it was very disappointing, but it was incredibly convenient to the wedding reception we attended across the road. We also dined at the bistro and appreciated the discount because of our booking, however it was the smallest steak in history with a very large price tag. The 3 prawns on top were bigger than the actual steak.”

“Good”

“Good value hotel with good in-room amenities. Close to shops and main road bus routes. Discount at the neighbouring club on meal was useful.”
