Sonder.com is now owned and operated by TravelAI, the Travel Memory Company and the operating name of UpNext Ventures Inc. The group acquired the Sonder brand: the word mark, more than 50 global trademark registrations, and more than 70 domain names, including this one.
TravelAI did not acquire the former operating business. No properties, no leases, no inventory, no staff, and no securities. The purchase was made from the estates of the Canadian Sonder entities through a court-supervised bankruptcy process, completed with the Trustee, Ernst & Young Inc., and approved by the Superior Court of Québec (Commercial Division) on July 6, 2026. The transaction was completed with the bankruptcy Trustee of the Canadian estates and does not involve Sonder Holdings Inc. or its securities. TravelAI and UpNext Ventures Inc. are not affiliated with Sonder Holdings Inc. (OTC: SONDQ).
We are not a public company, and we are not raising money. TravelAI is founder-owned and has been profitable since inception. There is no stock to buy and no round to join.

I hold SOND / SONDQ shares. What does this mean for me?
Nothing about your shares changes because of this transaction. The acquisition was completed with the bankruptcy Trustee of the Canadian estates and does not involve Sonder Holdings Inc. or its securities. Following a review by the Trustee, Ernst & Young Inc., with the assistance of its legal counsel, the sale was approved by the Superior Court of Québec (Commercial Division) at a hearing held on July 6, 2026. The former company's properties, leases, inventory, and staff were not part of the transaction.
I had a reservation with the old Sonder. Can you help?
We wish we could, but we can't. We didn't acquire the former company's reservations, customer records, or operations. For questions about past bookings or refunds, contact the Trustee administering the relevant estate or your payment provider.
Is TravelAI raising money? Can I invest?
No. TravelAI is founder-owned, has been profitable since inception, and has never raised outside investment. There's no stock to buy and no round to join. The best way to be part of the new Sonder is to travel with it.
Does the new Sonder operate hotels or apartments?
No. The new Sonder is a curated guide, not a hotel operator. Rather than endless, undifferentiated listings, we apply a consistent editorial standard to design-led apartment-style homes and the best boutique hotels, chosen for design, neighborhood, and quality. Bookings are fulfilled by TravelAI's distribution partners.
