Crogen Bryn Awel is an exquisite Grade II listed detached holiday cottage, the view from which is stunning with a panoramic outlook across the Upper Dee Valley. This is one of the most attractive valleys in the UK. As part of the 2,500-acre Crogen Estate, there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed such as walking and sightseeing with fishing and tennis by arrangement, and for the more adventurous, paint balling and high ropes. Golf can be found locally. Within 1½ miles there is an outstanding restaurant, pub and village shop. Bala Lake is only a short drive away and the sandy beaches of west Wales’ coastline are approximately 45 minute drive. Llangollen is a nearby town with its horse drawn barges, steam train and numerous festivals throughout the year. Shop 1½ miles.

We had a lovely week in this cottage with spectacular views. Within easy reach of good walking, swimming and tourist spots if weather wet. Well equipped and very comfortable. Definitely recommend

Bryn Awel provides the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away. There were so many great walks on our doorstep that we didn’t really bother using the car and the wood burner made the perfect welcome in the evening. We’ll definitely be back! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
