Y Shed is at the same location and can be booked alongside Y Bwthyn (UK11515). Y Shed sleeps two guests and has its own private amenities and is set in your own private field with stunning south facing views, overlooking the Towy and Cothi Valleys and further eastwards toward Llandeilo and the Carmarthen Fans. The glamping style accommodation has been thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated to offer all you need for a restful countryside ’escape from it all’.

Y Shed is comprised of a shepherd’s hut, containing a living/kitchen area and a bathroom, and a separate sleeping pod. Both are linked by a curved decking area, perfect for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The hut has a kitchen area with twin gas hob and fridge (with a small freezer section), wood burner, dining table, chairs and a sofa bed (for flexible sleeping). Linen can be provided for the sofa bed, making Y Shed suitable for two guests who would like separate sleeping. There is also a compact but comfortable bathroom with a small bath with shower over, wash hand basin and a separate toilet. Externally, there is a composting toilet in a separate wood hut by the side of Y Shed.The sleeping pod is cosy, pine clad and snug. Inside, you can enjoy underfloor heating and stunning views directly from the double bed. You also have the benefit of fast 4G mobile broadband on all major networks.
Outside, the large, decked area is perfect for an al fresco breakfast or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. Or light the fire pit and toast some marshmallows, or pop the grill top on for a barbecue. Set in its own field, up a quiet country lane, Y Shed is perfectly placed for a getaway or to explore Carmarthenshire’s countryside, castles, and coastline. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Dinefwr Castle, Dryslwyn Castle and Brechfa forest mountain cycling are all within 20 minutes by car. Head to the stunning coastline at Llansteffan, Pembrey Country Park and Laugharne, just a 35 minutes’ drive away. Or take a trip to nearby Llandeilo, a historic market town with a choice of eateries and boutique shops.
