2 Therocklands  |  Bed & Breakfast in Birkenhead

Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars.

Really warm welcome from Simon & Sue, we were then shown to our room which was truly lovely with en-suite bathroom. Next door was a very nice sitting room for us with all amenities including home made cakes. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. We will be back.

Simon and sue made our stay a fantastic experience. They were so helpful and friendly. You could not ask more. They recommended places to visit, told us about the area. We would highly recommend staying here, we will certainly be going back there when we go again to Liverpool

This was the best accommodation we have found. Susan and Simon are perfect hosts. Simply wonderful experience, literally everything was as good as it could be and far better than most hotels.The kindness we have been shown by both of them was quite humbling. We wish them well

Everything was fine at this very recommendable B&B. Sue and Simon are very friendly and helpful hosts and we felt like a part of the family there. Bus stop is just a few meters away so that you can go either to Liverpool or to the Coast Line at West Kirby within approx. 20 minutes. Rooms are spacious and clean, we really enjoyed the stay there and would come again when next time in this area.

Very clean, quiet property, great room with a big bathroom (no tub, which we don’t care about). Parking right in front of the property. Amazing hosts and even the neighbors were very friendly. Bus stop just a block away and restaurants and pubs about 1-2 miles away

Simon and Sue were exceptional hosts - friendly, helpful and with advice on good places to visit and eat. Easy to get into Liverpool by bus 100m from property. This is a very high end b and b.

Excellent welcome- comfortable accommodation. Hosts very considerate and helpful. Cooked to order breakfast. Would definitely return.
