Summary: The room was real clean and comfortable. There was a light fixture not working in the bathroom but overall room was excellent.

Summary: Check-in was relatively quick and easy. Breakfast was really good. Confusing info about the restaurant hours though. No one could give us a straight-forward answer and then one of the evenings it was ‘closed for a private event’ with no warning.

Summary: A nice boutique hotel. The room was clean (although the back of the bathroom door was filthy, but you can tell it's one of those areas that is easy to miss). Good location in very close proximity to the Hewes Street subway station. The restaurant was closed during my trip because it's only open Wednesday through the weekend. I wasn't made aware of this when I asked about it during check-in, which messed with my dinner plans for the evening (small inconvenience). Another mild inconvenience was that there were no U.S. outlets on either side of the bed - the outlets were standard U.K. outlets? They did have USB-A plugs, but no USB-C nor standard U.S. electrical outlets at the bedside. Someone please correct me if I'm a complete moron. This made charging my phone at night annoying because I had to charge it on the desk near the foot of the bed, which was extremely limiting to my nighttime doom-scrolling.

Summary: Heads up on the non-refundable rate: they mean it. I booked 5 months out and tried to cancel 3 months out, and they said no - even though the hotel ended up sold out that weekend. I've never had another hotel refuse a cancellation that far ahead, so book the flexible rate if your plans might change.
Once I arrived - it's a good location if you're out all day. It's close to the Hewes St. and Broadway subway stops, but it's still a ride into Manhattan. The lobby's cool and sometimes has free wine. The area looks a little grimy, but there's foot traffic at all hours, so it never felt sketchy.
My main complaint - the walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors talking, their TV, and even their shower. The subway noise didn't bother me. Housekeeping is loud in the mornings too, with slamming doors, talking, and music in the hallway. The room itself had dead bugs by the window and a bedframe that wasn't clean. The bed was a bit too firm for me, but not awful.
Overall it was a fine stay, but I wouldn't return, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for business travelers or anyone sensitive to noise.

Summary: Beds were comfy. Room 101 full length window is at eye level with outside passersby so be mindful of using the provided robes!

Summary: Free breakfast was ridiculous. One staff for a room full of people. Waited forever and had to walk out due to appointment elsewhere. Food on other tables looked good but never ate any. This was NOT fault of server.
