“A bit dated, beds are worn out and a lack of a/c. Got charged for smoking in a room but always walked away from the room. Good option.. but if you smoke, you will be judged for it.”

“a cozy place - a fun layout with great amenities. While the air in our room wasn't working, staff gave us several fans to help keep it cool - nice that the evening got cooler so having the window open with the fans was perfect”

“I was envisioning a quiet mountain retreat, but A Lodge was not that. We arrived on Friday night to learn there was a yoga session and then a very loud DJ party after that. Many of the people attending were not guests of the hotel and we had a difficult time parking. Our room was near the main office and the party spilled over in front of our room with people talking very loudly. And there’s no AC in the rooms so we had to keep the windows open for ventilation. The next morning we came out of our room to discover what was either dog poop or crushed brownies directly outside. By the time we checked out Sunday morning it still hadn’t been cleaned up. The floor in our shower had a large crack that had clearly been attempted to be repaired several times without success. No ice available on site and the filter on the water bottle refilling station was red. The location was beautiful, just not the experience I was expecting.”

“An older hotel I loved the still use keys instead of keycards. The property is well maintained and in the middle of the forest with walking/biking trails very peaceful”
