“Firstly the view is exceptional and the room is clean and safe. You do need a car to say here in my view, it’s out of the way and not near the centre where the restaurants are. Small things like no sugar for the coffee machine, no bin to Keep the room tidy. The location and small Things given the Room rate let it down in my opinion. One other thing, it’s very close to the railway line and you continuously hear trains From Quite early.”

“Room was clean but very small . Design of the bed was extremely awkward to get in and out of particularly for older people at night. Plenty of parking on the street but not an easy walk to old city. Would not recommend for older clients”

“I liked the view: fabulous. But the location was spoilt by being just 30 metres from the Palermo-Messina mainline railway track. I was disappointed by the property's poor maintenance: broken door/window blind, broken washing line, shower room door grating noisily on the tile floor (irritating in the middle of the night), no soap dish in the shower, pock-marked mirror, only one bedside table, outside area unweeded, minimalist breakfast (coffee/tea and a packet of biscuits). And the room lacked privacy. A Tonnara has seen better days. In 2020 it was rated 9 out of 10 on Bookings.com. Today 8.1. Tomorrow?”

“Booked the property about 6 months ago, b&b advertised as included. On arrival, a packet of biscuits were pointed out as something for the morning, no breakfast so had to walk into town to find something adding an additional cost that we thought we had already been included. Average room and amenities, bathroom tired. We spent 3 wonderful weeks travelling around Sicily and this is the only accommodation we wished we had changed. ”
