AbbyCreek Inn | Hotel in Winthrop

We had a very nice stay at AbbyCreek Inn and would happily stay here again. The room was basic but comfortable and clean, even in a pet-friendly room. The bed was comfy, the A/C worked great during the 90+ temps, and a working fridge and microwave are always welcome. The staff was especially kind and helpful. The location is a highlight. We loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants and downtown, walk to the river behind the hotel, and let our dog enjoy the multiple grassy areas. The pool (refreshing), hot tub (hot!), and sauna were all clean and well maintained. The only unexpected thing was a very large group had essentially taken over the pool area during the first day, so we didn't end up using it at that time. (But we did the next day.) Breakfast was standard continental fare, and gluten-free options were quite limited. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly staff and a great value for the area.

Very nice stay. Pool and hot tub were nice. Only minor issues were with the amenities. Grill did not work as it should. Washer and dryer are coin operated, and the desk did not have coins, so you’d have to run down the road to get change. Breakfast was OK, but not much variety, and didn’t change from day to day at all (and no juice on two out of 3 days). Nit picking…generally a nice stay, and seemed like a decent value.

Great pool (but chilly) Very family friendly!!! The bright lights do pour into the room throughout the night so that can interfere with baby sleeping. But comfy bed and amazing breakfast!! Would stay again

Loved our stay here. Easy check in, very clean. Convenient location. Loved the pool. Stores within walking distance, restaurants close by, although most close early. Located within an hour of North Cascades NP and Lake Chelan. Two hours from Leavenworth. Plenty to do close by. Can't wait to come back and go tubing on the river.

The hotel room was basic but very clean with comfortable beds and a great family atmosphere. There was a balcony so it was nice to be able to open the sliders. The hot tub was fabulous, and a great place to meet fellow travelers. The pool was cold but it was clean and the kids loved it. Located close to town.

Nice location, a 3 minute drive from the center of historic Winthrop. A nice grassy area behind the hotel fronts on the Methow River. Comfy bed, nice breakfast, outdoor pool and hot tub in the courtyard. *Make sure to get a room on the second floor! They have balconies for a view and more privacy. Our room was on the 1st floor and utility workers staying over us kept us awake from 5:30-6:30AM as they left for work.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thank you to John, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The property has Tesla charging stations, and John patiently helped us get our car charging. While it charged, he even shuttled us to and from downtown Winthrop, which was especially helpful since we were traveling with our 4-year-old. His kindness and exceptional customer service made a lasting impression. The breakfast felt homemade, and the eggs were especially delicious. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend staying here.

Room is old and dated, ac was very load wall unit. Old quilts and dusty lamps. There was stained towel. We stayed here once before and beds are comfortable. Not much available in the area last minute that allows dogs. Nice common area lawn and picnic tables, but it was busy with families. Hot tub was covered the evening we arrived and not able to use it. It was open next morning. The space by river is nice, but seems geese frequent the area and there is poop all over. The fire pit didn’t have wood and only a couple of chairs, so we didn’t use it. Would have been nice to be able to do s’mores there. Front desk friendly and breakfast is just ok. Typical scrambled egg from mix and sausage links, packaged oatmeal and only hot water,, no microwave that I saw for heating it better. Cute town and convenient when driving across the park to stay at end of the day.

Everything was great! The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Standard, clean room. Nothing special.
