Adobe & Pines Inn | Bed & Breakfast in Taos, New Mexico

“The property is beautiful, and the rooms are very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, many small issues added up and made our stay disappointing. We arrived late and completed the self-check-in without problems. However, the room was extremely cold, and the AC remote did not work because the batteries were dead. The TV remote also began malfunctioning. The shower only seemed to offer very hot or very cold water. The room had a coffee maker, but although the reservation was for two guests, there was only one cup, and it was extremely dirty. I had to go to the lobby in my pajamas to ask for clean cups. The mattress was old and had a deep dip in the middle, causing both of us to sink toward the center. The bed also made a lot of noise with every movement. Our breakfast server was very kind, and the chimichurri was excellent, but our eggs took about 30 minutes, and there were no fresh fruits, cheeses, or similar options. Finally, when a sock fell under the bed, I found an insect trap containing dead insects. Visible traps should be removed or hidden before guests arrive. A gorgeous property with enormous potential, but the management and maintenance need major improvement. The place itself is a 10; the management and upkeep are a 0.”

“Absolutely the best experience ever. Don’t stay at a local hotel. This is a bed and breakfast is so worth the stay. The facility is totally southwestern and you get the true home feeling of woodwork, homemade tables and the beautiful southwestern tile work. The breakfast is gourmet and the food presentation is beautiful. We selected a room with a fire place which is so nice. Wood is included with your stay. The staff are wonderful and so nice. Very accommodating. They are also pet friendly. We will always stay here when we’re in town. Highly recommend. Family from Colorado!!!”

Cat was super friendly, our food was great, and we absolutely LOVED having a fire going. We enjoyed the grounds and haven’t felt so relaxed in a long time. We’re planning our next stay for August (but honestly, we may go sooner! lol). ”
