Positive: We loved everything about the cottage, it is so quaint, very clean, stunning location. The owners were a delight and the Guinness bread was delicious. The horses and the sheep roaming around added to our stay. I can highly recommend staying at the cottage. The village of Oughterard nearby is charming and Powers Pub a must visit for dinner it was so delicious. Also Clancy’s pub is worth a visit too.

Good country getaway, very nice special touches like Christmas decorations, delicious baked goods, fantastic filter coffee and very thoughtful snacks when we arrived.

Lovely cosy cottage. Very clean. Had everything you could need including hairdryer iron etc
Warm on arrival. Fresh soda bread and treats waiting for us. Extra fire fuel delivered due to a storm. Host’s communications excellent

It's a beautiful location and not too far from Galway. There was plenty of room and it was equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
Negative:
The bathroom window was broken and wouldn't shut. The remote turns the TV on, but the buttons are very difficult to push to make choices.
Summary: This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the northwest of Ireland.

This beautiful cottage near Quiet Man Bridge made us feel right at home, and now that we’re back, we find ourselves a bit homesick.
The welcoming basket of freshly baked homemade bread was a lovely touch, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like washing pods, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, and plenty of towels for our stay. The owner even brought us candles and fire logs to keep us cozy through the storm!
Sadly, we didn’t make it to the family-run pub in Oughterard, as we were too busy exploring the stunning scenery of Connemara National Park.
Anyways, this was a grand experience altogether and we‘d be delighted to come back soon!

Loved the cottage and location. Your own car is a must. The welcome basket with local produce was much appreciated. Lots to see and do in this part of connemara. Recommended.
