ALBERI LODGE Reviews
Reviewer Type: Family With Children
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A beautiful gem of a place to stay with your family. It's got a little kids play area, lots of palm trees & birds, ample space for a BBQ and to dine outside (take your own sets of BBQ). It's spacious for 8 people or so (4 rooms) and our toddler stayed with us in the room. The beds are clean and the location is perfect for a stroll to the Hatta Dam, or to a few cafes/ supermarkets close by. Expect for comfort vs luxury. There's also a big majlis to sit indoors to play board games or watch tv.
Summary: Family getaway in the heart of Hatta

Positive:
The property is lovely and immaculately landscaped, with the trees providing excellent shade cover and ensuring the yard felt a few degrees cooler than the surrounding areas. The pool was great, and my kids loved seeing the birds (the cages were kept very clean). Overall, the bedrooms were a great size, and the living room/majlis was very spacious as well. The location is also perfect, and it was close to all the local activities.
Negative:
It wasn't clear prior to arriving that it is a traditional villa with no hallway connecting the rooms to one another (i.e. each room leads to the central courtyard only). We adjusted our sleeping arrangements, but we were traveling with very small children so this was an important point to know in advance. I could not leave my toddler in a room on his own, as originally intended.
Summary: Great house in a perfect location, suited for families with older kids or groups traveling together!
