“We stayed in this hotel about 4 years ago and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately it has gone down hill since. Our tv worked at first but later we could only get a few channels we don't normally watched. They say you can tell how good a hotel is by the number of people saying there. In the 2 nights we were there we were the only ones staying. I will never stay there again.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. We checked in and the room had an odor. After a few moments we figured out it was mothballs. When we told the owner he explained that it was bleach. I think everyone knows the difference between mothball smell and bleached mouth. He moved us to another room. The bathroom door did not close all the way. I think the owner is doing remodels little by little.”

“The motelier was great. Stayed up waiting for my arrival. Woke up in the middle of the night to give me a new key. Thank you. The sheet on the bed was thin. Had to get my own blanket. The bathroom was in need of some age-related repairs. Otherwise, a great clean room. Nice look on the outside. Easily accessible, though a bit outside of town. Most reasonably priced properties are within an hour's drive of Churchill Downs on Derby weekend. That was an asset!”

“Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. I asked if they had a step stool for my mother because the beds are high and she had trouble getting in. They brought one to me .”

“Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Only complaint that the hotel can’t fix is there was a lot of road noise from the traffic. And the room beside us decided to blare their TV at 2:30 am but did turn it off after I banged on the wall a couple of times! 🙄 It’s a quick 3/4 minute drive into Bardstown so nice and close! ”

“Upon entering the room there was an off putting odor; windows and mirrors were not clean; road noise was constant throughout the night; did not feel comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet; reused passkey envelope - not clean, not impressive at all.”
