Positive:
The apartment is close to some lovely walks around the river, and close to shops/cafes restaurants etc. it’s in a very quiet cul de sac with no through traffic and very quiet day and night. The position is across the road from the river with a nice view out of the large bay window. The owner Mike was very helpful and friendly and instructions on property were helpful. Lots of information inside with local walks and places to eat. Plenty of off street parking. The bed was nice and comfortable and the property was nice and clean.
Negative:
The bathroom could do with a renovation and the old air conditioner needs replacing. The apartment is under the main house so a bit of resonating footsteps from above but nothing too bad. If you’re a fisherman the lake isn’t providing fish at the moment as the opening to the ocean is closed by sand and the river is not getting fresh seawater. Hence the water is more brackish than salt
Summary: Nice quiet stay with lovely views
