Antico Monastero | Bed & Breakfast in Anacapri, Campania

“We loved our stay in Capri! The place and the owner are super warming. It felt like being at your own grandparent's house. Breakfast is offered and it is excellent. Plus it is located in the best area of the island! Suuuuper recommended ! ❤️”

“Very helpful”

“great rooms, great area and staff were lovely!”

“Zvery nice couple who owns the hotel. Gave us great advice on thungs to see and do on Capri during our stay. They also provided breakfasts which was a pleasant surprise.”

“Unique and fascinating traditional bed & breakfast, well run by a lovely family, who were very helpful - we likely wouldn't have found such great places to go without their advice. We felt very welcome in the interesting and homely place, historic but with modern comforts. We had the one room without an en suite bathroom; don't be put off as it's close by, and completely private, as it would be in many private homes. Also, the coffee in the morning is excellent!”

“This is a family run B&B with 3 rooms, be aware that one of the rooms the bathroom is located outside the bedroom. Breakfast is served in their dinning room. ”

“It was very inconvenient to have the restroom on the first floor, as well as have to carry its key all the time. ”

“Property is 5 min walk from Mont Solaro. Carlo was an excellent host and very helpful in terms of advice regarding walks and places to visit”

“Perfect room at a reasonable price. The breakfast was amazing and the owner was very informative and pleasant.”

“The breakfast was good but the stay was odd and not for you if you require full privacy. We were required to leave our room key outside of our room whenever we left the building, and we later noticed that they come into your room when you’re gone quite frequently - for example there is a window facing the shower that opens to the hallway of the apartment and we shut it to shower and when we came back from town it was open again (and no cleaning was done). As two female travelers it made us kinda uncomfortable knowing we didn’t have total privacy from the hosts. The air conditioner didn’t work when we turned it on so we didn’t think to turn it off when we left for an hour into town and came back with a note on the AC unit asking to turn the unit off when we leave the building. I understand that there is keep up needed for an older building but it’s weird for hosts to enter as they please without consent. ”
