Apartment Buda Budapest Reviews
Reviewer Type: Couple
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Budapest is my favourite city, I often go there and always rent another studio. This apartment is very large with two big rooms, on the 2nd floor (there is a lift), in a very quiet street. Although it is on the Buda side, there are many bus & trams lines passing very near and going quickly to the city center (Deak Ferenc ter) and everywhere (I recommend to buy a 24 or 72h bus ticket). Also two big shopping centers, several smaller SPAR shops, little restaurants and a beautiful park for jogging in the vicinity. Chris, the host, is a charming, very kind and helpful person. I hope to come back one day.
Negative: Nothing, just that a hook to hang the clothes in the bathroom would be great ;-)
Summary: We had a great time !

Positive: Everything as expected! Old-school apartment with all you need. 2 separate bedrooms, toilet separate from bathroom - so if you are traveling in bigger numbers - the master bedroom has a nice sofa to relax. The best treatment ever! Very nice host, easy to get to the key. Parking available for extra charge. Tram and metro stop to the city center is 7min walking. All was perfect - would stay again for sure!
Summary: Old-school, spacious with great host!

Positive: We spent several wonderful and relaxing days in the apartment. Chris was waiting us in front of the building to give us the keys and to help us park the car, because the entrance to the parking place is a bit narrow. He was very helpful with summarized information about the main attractions in Budapest and offered us his help in case we need anything additional. There is a tram and a metro station close to the apartment and you can reach easily the places that you want to visit. Public transport in Budapest is very well organized.
Negative: The place is not luxurious, but the price is reasonable and it corresponds to the normal living conditions that it offers.
Summary: Relaxing visit of Christmas Budapest

Positive:
We had a really lovely stay in this apartment! Despite arriving fairly late in the evening, we were met with a very warm welcome from our host, Christian, who gave us some useful tips and information about the surrounding area and the city. The apartment is located on a quiet street away from the bustle of the city, but still within walking distance of a good range of local restaurants, shops, and bakeries. There is a tram/bus stop and a metro station very close by to quickly take you into the city.
Negative:
The sound insulation of the building isn't amazing, so we were woken up a few times by noise from neighbouring apartments.
Summary: Lovely apartment on a quiet street close to everything you need for a great stay in Budapest!

Chris was a great host. We stayed with my son for a week and loved the cozy flat and the location. The place has literally all you need plus a wonderful balcony. Will come back again!!
Negative:
A very minor detail - if you are tall, the shower head might seem low hanging, I had to bend a bit to get my hair washed :)

Wish host could arrange one more day in same building as we had to go to another place for one day as the apartment was prebooked. No fault of host though
