Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The place is much better than i expected! we booked the apartment which is just next to the hotel, and the hotel is on the top of the hill. the parking is at the bottom of the hill but dont worry there's a very nice driver to get you there.
the room was a bit old but clean and comfy.
maybe because the photos in booking.com dont look nice so when i got here it was much better than expected!
Negative: nothing (idk if the hotel room is as good as the apartment room)
Summary: top of the hill apartment!

Positive:
Location was beautiful, property was beautiful, food was great, most the staff was very friendly, pool and spa were great. Wonderful stay all the way around.
Negative:
i would have liked to know more about the shuttle from the parking lot at the bottom of the hill. Also, thought the stay was a little pricey.
Summary: Gorgeous property in the gorgeous Istrian countryside.

Positive:
Perfect location, right on top with amazing views. Spacious apartment, the pool was a welcome refresher.
Negative:
The air con was completely under-dimensioned for the size of the room. This made it impossible to sleep, as the days were 36 degrees and the stone buildings reflected the heat perfectly.
Also, although very well equipped, there were no dish towels.
Summary: Perfect location in beautiful Motovun

Positive:
The position in the town is perfect. The person who drives the van from the parking lot to the hotel was the nicest person at the hotel!
Negative:
The people in the hotel were not very friendly. The room said it had two bedrooms one with single beds and on quadruple. In reality, there was one bedroom with a matrimonial bed, sitting room and loft with single bed. The other room had the kitchen and dining table and another loft with a single bed and a pull-out couch. The number of beds is correct but there is little privacy. Also, there is a button for the hot water heater. We turned it on but never had hot water. It turned out that there was another button that needed to be turned on. There was no sign informing us of this so we all got cold showers. You would think the staff would put a sign there. I know you pay for location but everything in the hotel was very expensive.
Summary: Great position but they people could be nicer.

We were a family of 4 parents and there son and wife. Apartment was misrepresented in description called a two bedroom but really set up for a family with small children there was no second bedroom only a kitchen aand two single loft beds one in kitchen one in a loft above bedroom our son and wife had to sleep separately in two separate areas on beds meanf for children
We loved the ride up and the spa area , we would have booked two separate rooms if available
