“Apartments Doulos are located in the lovely village of Splitska, about 7 km from Supetar, the ferry stop from Split. There is a bus going regularly through the village, but I would definitely recommend it to vacationers with a car. The village itself is rather sleepy, with one store only and two restaurants, the local beach is small, so having the option to travel around is welcome. The beach is not very good for small children, but there is one better about 2 km from the centre (though you have to walk along the main road with cars passing and it gets crowded). Being small and sleepy is a bonus, though - no noise in the evenings and local charm. The apartment was perfect for us, as we needed three bedrooms. The equipment is basic but totally sufficient. Sandra is a perfect host and very helpful with anything you may need. There was not a working ATM in Splitska, which was a bit of a problem, but she was ready to travel to Supetar with us. The apartment has a terrace with a splendid view over the roofs and the sea, perfect to watch the sunset, and one of the bedrooms has a balcony of its own.”
