Atascadero Inn | Hotel in Atascadero, California

“Floor was DIRTY, bottom of my feet turned black. You can literally see how dirty the floor was. Room came with only 1 roll of TP. I requested a second one. One of the 2 room keys did not open the door. Besides the room, the man at check in was very helpful and nice and professional”

“great experience friendly staff.”

“Clean quiet and close to food.”

“It was a nice place to stay. Had a little confusion about the fee for the pet. We should have mentioned that it was a service dog. But the manager reduced the fee by 10.00. He was really a nice guy.”

“Upon check-in, there were problems with the front desk. The usual desk clerk was not available, so another family member stepped in to assist (we were told). He was not familiar with the computer system, so that took long. Though I got into the lobby first, he helped another lady who came in afterwards (and I found out later that she was there a half hour earlier and the man was not able to assist her yet). The check-in process took a half hour. The desk clerk kept answering phone calls, which delayed the check-in even more. It was very inefficient, especially for a small inn. When I finally got into the room, it appeared clean but there was a heavy floral antiseptic smell in the room. The bathroom toilet was dirty where the lid hinged the bowl. There were no soaps, shampoo, and half a roll of toilet paper with no toilet roll holder. I had to ask the desk for more soap, toilet paper, and they didn't provide any shampoo (like isn't this a basic service?). For the beds, some pillows were lumpy and others were flat as pancakes. The pillow cases were off-white and did not match. The bathroom light was an automatic light that flickered on/off, even when you were using the bathroom sink and counter. This off/on light affected the whole room. I only needed one night there, thankfully. I don't understand charging $200 for a sub-par room, but it seems that is the lower end rate for that area. I really wish the motels in the Paso Robles/Atascadero areas were better.”

“Could not find the breakfast and office door locked”

“Great location. No blow dryer. Had to ask for shampoo, soap etc. front office is very messy and cluttered.”

“The staff was great. Provided all the info and was very welcoming. The room was clean as well for it being an Inn. I would stay here again. Check in and Check out was easy,”

“Only one cup. A pot but no coffee. Parking was good. Bed was ok.”

“No internet for my room. No rubber mat to stand on in the bathtub, the bottom of which was very slick, so it was necessary to use one of the towels to stand on while showering.”
