Renovated barn on former farming property in beautiful Bacchus Marsh, close to apple and cherry orchards and all the beautiful walking trails, bike tracks and glorious picnic areas of the Lerderderg State Forest and Werribee and Lerderderg rivers, as well as the magnificent Avenue of Honour. The Barn is close on 100 years old and many of the original features are still present, including the solid wood pillars and wooden ceiling giving it an authentic country atmosphere. More recent additions include a farmhouse kitchen, bathroom and wood fired heater. Another recent addition is an extensive elevated deck which boasts an external wood fired heater, bbq and outdoor furniture.
Bacchus Marsh is home to some lovely country style cafes, fruit and vegetable stores, community markets and pick your own fruit orchards. It is situated within an hour's drive of Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat and is closer still to the lovely areas in and around Trentham and Daylesford. Once you get back, unwind on the balcony most units feature, or head down to the pool and fitness center for a change of scenery.
