“Lovely place. Well maintained, friendly staff. Quiet and safe location. Two minor things to keep in mind. The location is a 10 minute walk to public transit, so if its raining or bad weather, you'll be out in it for a bit before you can hop on the bus. The other thing is that the single bedroom is a converted loft. It's well-done and comfortable, but cramped, especially the bathroom. If I was a larger person (I'm 5'11", 190lbs), the toilet would have been a real challenge to use. Keep that in mind if you're larger than me. I've knocked off a star because of the bathroom. That said, there's not much they can do without changing the roof line. But otherwise the house was lovely, the back garden is wonderful, and the staff was great.”

“The room was spotless. Excellent quality bed and bedding. Great coffee machine and homemade brown bread and homemade marmalade. The offering of continental breakfast was second to none with fresh fruit yogurt’s cheese and pastries. Great location and very relaxing environment great nights sleep. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.”

“Fantastic guest house, in a peaceful location, spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. Great room, comfy bed so slept well. 5-10 mins stroll from the bus stop, 30 mins on bus from Temple bar area. Continental breakfast with a choice of breads, croissants, cheese, yoghurt etc. Nice freshly brewed coffee. Our host Jack is a very interesting man to talk with. Should we revisit Dublin I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.”

“The house has been renovated beautifully. I really appreciated being able to park our rental car, no fuss. The self-serve coffee machine is fabulous. One thing that was lacking for me was a bit of protein for breakfast. I like a full breakfast. ”
