“The location is perfect if you want a quiet vacation. The beach is at your doorstep and the sunsets are amazing. There are 2 tavernas and a snack beach bar which are walking distance.
We had a car so preferred to drive to other places for dinner after the first two nights near the villa.
The villa istelf was very pleasant and well maintained.
I imagine it is usually busier but thanks to covid it was very quiet. In fact we hardly ever shared the common pool.
The sofa bed is uncomfortable so the kids ended up sleeping in 2 joined single beds pushed together.
The hot water isn't enough for 5 people but there is a switch for additional hot water which helps.
Definitely memorable !”

“Great place fantastic value but the information online about the accommodation is not correct. This is not a hotel it is a collection of villas set in 6,s around a pool (unless you book private pool) , there is no bar, cafe or supermarket as shown on some sites- no onsite facilities. A car is a must but it’s only 5 minutes by car to town. A perfect base to explore this side of Crete and I would recommend
Hygiene is a bit of an issue, in Greece you put toilet paper in the bin, this is not a problem but bins only emptied every 4 days is! ”

“We stayed in Azure Beach for 2 weeks.The place is quiet, comfortable and located quite close to Kissamos. The villa was well equipped. Mina and the rest of the staff were very helpful and took care of all our needs - as we were travelling with a 3 months old baby. We really enjoyed our time there and most probably we will be back.
