I always stay at Bally's when I go to Bombay Hook NWR for wildlife photography. It's only about 20 minutes from the refuge, and I always feel safe when I stay there. I never really utilize the casino or the amenities, as I'm usually only there for a quick overnight. The rooms are always spotless, the beds comfy, and the blackout curtains are great, which is definitely appreciated, especially if I get a room overlooking the racetrack. I do wish they had a parking lot for hotel guests only, as getting a spot close to the entrance can be challenging, and schlepping my stuff in from the car isn't always fun. Will definitely keep booking there, though, and maybe next time I'll check out one of their restaurants. The local area is a bit iffy and choices for anything decent to eat are limited.

Rooms were a bit dated. There are no USB ports. Otgerwise our one night stay was very pleasant.
