Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was quite rural and really peaceful. A perfect get away from busy life. The apartment was spacious and the 2 bathrooms were useful with 2 teenagers. The apartment had everything you need for a self catering holiday and the garden and pool area is also really tranquil and relaxing. The town is a 5 minute drive for the supermarket or the train. There is also a free travel card included with your tourist tax, we didn't use it but there is a train in the town which you can hop on for other local towns and villages.
Negative: Nothing!

Positive: 'Daughter of the owner came to bring the key. And she immediately gave more information about the house and even about public transport.
Negative: Only downside was that check-in was until 9 p.m. evening and we didn't know that beforehand.

Positive: It was so nice to be out of the mainstream and out in the countryside. The mountains, springs, hills and forest trails are magical. We loved looking out our window and seeing the horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens. Marcus and his wife are so kind and accommodating and the kids are very friendly and helpful too. There is a washer and tumble dryer on site. The black out shades are the best I’ve ever used.
Negative: It was a little chilly for us being from Arizona, but there were plenty of blankets to snuggle up with.
Summary: Amazing stay on the farm close to town and Black Forest activities

Positive:
Quiet in a beautiful farm area.
Lovely family runs the place.
Spacious and well equipped apartment.
Lots of parking area.
Very close to many of the best attractions of the black forest like the famous open air museum.
Negative:
Payment process can be clearer. They want a direct IBAN transfer, which is fine, but we didnt have the details and had trouble communicating that, so we ended up paying on the last night there. Its not a huge deal, just would have been more comfortable if that part went smoothly.
Summary: Perfect family stay in the black forest.
