Summary: Beautiful property and cottage. Door locks were finicky. No heat in the living room but the bedrooms and bathrooms were heated. Would stay again.

Summary: Wonderful property with everything you need just a walk away. So much charm and character throughout the property along with a very attentive and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay as a family with a 15 month old and a dog who loves to swim!

Summary: Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort).

Summary: Very expensive resort hotel with not many room amenities. This place was one of the most expensive, definitely out in the boonies hotel we stayed in our long road trip. We were looking for a place to stay and it was later in the evening, and this was one of the only options in the area. The staff was very friendly, but we did not use any of the outdoor activities. We stayed in the main lodge and even though our room had a living room area, we were surprised to find NO Television in the room! The only TV was in a public space. The bathroom had one small shelf to put your toiletries, which was very inconvenient, and I could not find a hair dryer. The shower was one of the small capsule style like in Europe, so no elbow room. We did go down to their Red Mill restaurant and the staff was very accommodating to get us seated near a TV for the NFL game. We also liked the snack bar downstairs the next morning & got a yummy fresh croissant & cappuccino for breakfast.

Summary: Place was old. Paid for the stand alone two bedroom cottage with an fireplace and we lit a fire. Room filled with smoke, they moved us to a nicer place but it was just a different stay. Off the grid almost out in the middle of nowhere. Thin walls, single door handle locked rooms. Just not what we are used too. For the price I would not stay here again
