be.HOTEL places you in St. Julianʼs within the Baystreet Tourist Complex, a stay that keeps you close to St George’s Bay, Paceville, and the many restaurants and shops in the complex itself. Set in two wings, this 4-star hotel pairs a central location with the ease of a city stay, so you can move between your room, the waterfront, and the surrounding nightlife without losing time to transit. It is a practical base for travelers who want a straightforward address with quick access to the area’s most active streets. Inside, the rooms are air-conditioned and include an interactive HD TV, a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries, and free WiFi throughout. Some rooms also offer a balcony or terrace, giving you a place to step out and take in the view between plans. The layout is simple and functional, with the comfort of privacy and the reliability of the essentials you actually use during a stay. The building’s rooftop level is one of the clearest reasons to choose be.HOTEL: the panoramic pool on the 11th floor brings an open view above the city, while wellness facilities and spa services add a slower pace when you want it. You can also find dining and drinks on site, along with parking, laundry, transportation support, business services, and wheelchair accessible spaces, making arrival and daily routines easier to manage. Around the hotel, the pace stays urban and immediate. Baystreet puts shops, entertainment, restaurants, pubs, and clubs within easy reach, while Malta International Airport is a practical distance away. For a stay that feels connected, efficient, and distinctly local to St. Julianʼs, be.HOTEL keeps the essentials in one place.

Negative: Hard to sum up this place! The location is chaotic, in the heart of the St Julien night-club district, and therefore noisy and busy. Hard to say if it is a hotel at all really - you get to the place through a poorly signed shopping centre entrance, there is no room service, no dedicated set-down/pick-up area for arriving and departing guests (we just got dropped in the middle of a busy shopping street and told to find our own way - this proved to be about as good as it got), no concierge, and a shallow swimming pool that doubles as a doof-doof beach club. Breakfast was just about bearable (but the coffee wasn't), house-keeping was irregular and a daily surprise (no towels one day, five toilet rolls the next, tea bags not replaced daily etc). There appeared to be no compliance whatsoever over guest dress code - bare shirted and footed, and bather wearing was the norm even tough there were printed requests to comply. Guest numbers in the pool area were supposed to be capped at 60 but this was clearly not complied with. The indoor pool is a joke - more like a plunge pool. Most annoying was the fact that the rooms are spread over two separate buildings with two separate lift banks. Daily trips form one building to the other and back for breakfast was one example. Another was getting ice from the only bar on the 11th floor of building B required me to go down from my 9th floor room in building A, cross through reception, cross through the shopping centre, to enter the lift for Building B, go up 11 floors, collect ice, go down 11 floors, repeat the shopping centre and reception experience in reverse, and then go up 9 floors back to my room ....by which time the ice had usually melted! The hotel website talks about the sandy beach nearby St George Bay - no sand, merely gravel! But Malta is just one big rock after all!!
Summary: Don't stay here unless you want a noisy experience and want to spend most of your time in a lift

Positive:
The staff are very welcoming attentive room size was good easy check-in process and check out
Negative:
Be aware this hotel is in the middle of a shopping mall. I’ll Taxi drive struggle to find where to drop us off., for the price paid the bathroom had a lot of limescale which could easily be removed. Offputting the main strip for bars and clubs is opposite the shopping mall so if you have a room facing towards the shopping mall, you do hear this continuously so bring earplugs.. another annoyance was to have a poor towel you have to go back down to reception to pay for a card and then go back up to the rooftop pool. I’m unsure why you can’t do this at the rooftop pool just seems unnecessary extra step.
Summary: Beware this hotel is right by bars and clubs
