Summary: The studio apartment was directly on Main Street near all attractions. There is a phone number posted at the entrance, should you need any assistance. We were not sure how to work the TV and called. John was there in a jiffy to assist. He also gave us water and sodas and let us know he’d be available, should we need anything else.

Summary: It was a little bit of a maze to find the room and the hallways looked dated and there was a bit of a smell, but once we got to the room it felt like I was in a different place lol. The room was clean, had no smell, more amenities than a regular hotel, shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable, smart TV, full fridge with freezer. Very happy with the room

Summary: Travelers need to be aware that there was NO STAFF available during our two night stay. Exterior and interior locks were controlled by keypads that required quite a bit of dexterity to actually open; the doors needed to be pulled into alignment before the codes were entered. There was no number available for guests to call if there was an issue with the hotel. The stairs to the second floor lacked an adequate handrail. The location on Main Street in Beacon was convenient.

Summary: The entrance to the building was unexpectedly smelly, of cigarette smoke and urine. Once you meandered your way to the actual entrance of the property the smell wasn’t bad. We had no hot water. I tried emailing the property and they did not respond or fix the hot water which meant cold showers for two days. Beacon is a cute town. The room was quiet. Again, cigarette smoke coming through the vents. The internet was so slow that TV would not stream. The view out the window was pretty. We have to travel again to Beacon next year for family but will not be staying at this property.

Summary: The location can't be beat. The Free Loop bus stops right in front. Beacon Theater across the street. So many coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and shops nearby.
Be aware that there are stairs to climb to access the room and three doors with electronic keypads. The exterior and entrance appears shabby, but once you get into the hotel property, it's well kept.
Clean, but there must be a cigarette smoker nextdoor. The odor seeps through near the entrance and closet and sometimes wafts into the main room. I'm super sensitive and not everyone would notice.
Nicely decorated. All the basics are included. The room is small and thoughtfully furnished. Good for singles and intimate couples. A third, even a small child, would feel overcrowded.
I like an extra firm mattress and the bed was a bit soft for me, but comfortable enough for three nights. Good quality bedding/pillows. Plenty of clean towels.

Summary: 1. Three hours in, the fuse tripped, and we had no electricity for the entire night. No heating when it was 25 F outside, no light, no ability to charge phones. No one answered our phone calls and email until noon the next day. They're lucky we didn't take legal action.
2. This is not a hotel. There is no reception to check in, you just enter pin numbers to the building and room.
3. Apartment was clean but the building was in disrepair. The stench of smoke was really bad. The stairs and entry are dirty and have objects thrown around.

Summary: The room was good, comfy bed, nice shower but noisy from street noise and others entering the building during the night.
The entry was very dark, the exterior light bulb by door was burned out.

Summary: The keypad lock to the “hotel” was broken. No code was needed anyone can walk in and out easily. There were weird stains on the comforter. We will not be back.
