Bergsee Reviews
Reviewer Type: Family With Children
Travel Purpose: leisure
Negative: Unfortunately, the lock boxes are not numerical and cause some confusion to find the box.
Negative: GPS (Google and Waze) takes to wrong address opposite this property and at night it becomes difficult to find the right apartment blocks. Multiple pictures of the property from outside ( building to collect keys, building to check-in) would probably have made check-in also smoother.
Summary: Overall nice experience.

Positive: The apartment was a very good size and well-equipped. The view from the balcony is great. Good location to town, maybe a 5 minute walk. The apartment was also very clean. I will book again if staying in the black forest. The owner was also very responsive

Positive:
A lovely apartment with comfortable beds, a cosy living and eating area, with everything anyone needs for a stay in the Schwarzwald!
Negative:
Everything was good! The only thing we thought was missing were spoons in the kitchen, but we found these in a drawer in the living room as we were leaving! Perhaps a note in the kitchen to say that there is more cutlery in the living room would be useful 😅
Summary: Lovely apartment in the black forest

Positive:
* Absolutely all possible amenities for a typical home stay were available.
* Nice valley view from the balcony.
* Good value for money for the amenities it had to offer.
* The owner was very responsive.
Negative:
Finding the apartment entrance among 3 different zones was a nightmare.
* The owner gave instructions well ahead, but they were definitely not sufficient because the property was inside an apartment complex of literally over 1000 apartments.
We spent a solid 1 hour to find the apartment and to park our vehicle. Google maps couldn't spot the entrance to this multistorey multi zone complex. Sharing a map to find the apartment ahead would have helped.
* There was no ventilation in the toilet. The exhaust didn't work and there was no option to turn it on.
Summary: Great amenities but poor pictures and had to find the apartment among 3 zones.
