Best Western Mill River Manor | Hotel in Rockville Centre

The motel, on the outside, appears just to be OK. The rooms are on the other side, but we’re extremely clean. Bathrooms were updated but on the Economy side. Not particularly a quality upgrade clean. As a plumber, I tend to notice these things a little more than others. They maintain the older toilets which were in fine chain, but not elongated or Comfort height, which would create Comfort issues using them for larger people. The parking was adequate. But not all it was close to the rooms. The pool was out of commission and closed. Something was going on because there’s no water. We weren’t there to use the pool so it really wasn’t much of a issue for us. The AC unit was a bit noisy. But it worked fine. The uncomfortable part of the place was the outside of the property. There were people hanging around outside. I can’t be sure whether they were guests of the hotel, hotel Employee, or local homeless. they seem to be walking in and out of the stairwells, which were not security access. The game to place a little bit of a strange vibe. For the area and the cost, I suppose the price was OK. But we did not have safe feeling there so we ended up leaving a little bit early to head home and did not stay over the second night. But we did pay for the second night as we were contracted

Perfect location if you need to be in the environs of Hewlett. Staff couldn’t have been more pleasant as well as efficient!

Clean, no complaints . Very close to train

The common space along with the rooms are clean and pleasing to the eye . Love the lobby and downstairs . Almost elegant. The breezeways leading to the rooms looks terribly old and dated. The outside structure looks old and tired. How about paint it white for a nice refresh. The breakfast choices could be improved. Offer crispy bacon yogurt and berries and oatmeal. Coffee is good. Eggs not hot enough.

The room was clean the parking is great

The hotel itself was nice, but the area is pretty sketchy. There were multiple police cars & officers there the night we stayed and we could hear yelling & sirens all night long.

We enjoyed our stay, suited us well.

The room has a weird smell but the beds and room was clean. The bathroom light was jarring especially at night, microwave clock did not work, but that’s probably not a biggie.mthempool,is still under construction

It was a very comfortable sray. Breakfast was goid and complimentary, they had enough of everything. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It was a great lication with many restaurants within walking distance.
