Amazing in all aspects, great location
When we first arrived at the property, we had a great experience with the hotel staff and the check in process was smooth and easy. The room was updated (as was the property) and it was accessible to the pool and beach. The breakfast was nice, but there is not nearly enough seating for folks to enjoy. A couple of odd things - the pool is locked until 9am. We wanted to do an early AM swim, but that wasn't possible. There was a beach chair rental company on the beach, but also didn't open until 9. The hotel did not offer pool or beach towels, so that was also incovenient. Our stay was nice until the last night. We got a call at 7pm informing us a leak from our room to the room below. Staff went into the room and advised it was a false alarm. At 9pm, we got another call saying it actually wasn't a false alarm and that a "clogged drain" that had led to some water intrusion. We arrived minutes later to find sewage coming up from the shower, the room in the process of cleanup and an absolutely vile odor. Shoes on the floor were ruined. We had to move all our belongings to another room amidst the water and odor in the room. The hotel gave us a $100 credit the following morning. The compensation was not enough for the inconvenience and disgusting situation. We didn't receive a call management with an apology or explanation and $100 basically only paid for the shoes that were ruined, not the experience. There are too many places to choose from to return here.
