Boho Manor | Hotel in Northwood, California

“A magical experience back in time. Warm and welcoming staff, delectable, food,. Exquisite. Breathtaking beauty on the river.”

“Well, here was a little different. We checked in with self check-in, which couldn’t really figure out, but there was a phone number so I was able to call and message with the staff where they did come out and greet us after time being the room was very very nice. They upgraded us since we were there celebrating our 27 year anniversary. Staff was very helpful useful and friendly. Breakfast was kind of just cereal, fruit, yogurt, and coffee and juice. We will return. We loved the area there was easy places to walk to, and the sites were beautiful.”

“The internet service was spotty during our stay (which they admitted was a problem and they were fixing it). This is the main reason I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise, I really love the place. The location on the water is great. The restaurant, when open, is also great.”

“Tranquility and the beautiful scenery”

“The back area by the river was very nice and relaxing. The way the staff did not communicate was not very helpful. The room was very tacky with the ugly furniture colors-the online pictures are deceiving. The scone by the side of the bed would not turn off so we had a light in all night. The coffee maker didn’t work. There was no information about checkout time of when breakfast was served. I had asked the bartender the night before he stated he had no idea all of the staff went home.”

“No”

“A great experience ”

“Room smelled of sewage. The bathroom was very small with a sliding door. We got the room because we saw a jacuzzi/spa in the listing, but it wasn’t running. Bummer! The speak easy was very cool though and the included breakfast was a plus.”

“Staff was friendly room was nice. Only suggestion is it was a little cold in the room turn on the heater a little bit before people check in, but I’m looking forward to going back during the summertime so that I can enjoy it more.”

“I went on a work trip and needed a receipt to verify my stay so I could receive per diem compensation. I requested a receipt from BoHo Manor, to which they sent me a blank form within the body of an email. I requested they send a proper receipt and they never got back to me. Soooo... If you are staying here for work, be prepared to not receive an appropriate receipt verifying your stay. P.S.: They do not have microwaves in the rooms and the WiFi is spotty.”
