Bootshaus Amberg Reviews
Summary: Average hotel - noisy and only with a portable air-conditioning unit. 'Comfort' room was a room for disabled people. Even a double bed would be prepared for a single person, single pillow and single blanket. Showering will make the whole bathroom wet and only a single towel is provided.

Summary: This was our second stay at Bootshaus Amberg and it continued to exceed our expectations. The beds and down comforters are amazing and we slept great. Their in-house restaurant and authentic German breakfast were delicious. We enjoyed a dinner there as well and the ambiance and decor make for a welcoming and delicious meal. We also enjoyed a beer out on their deck over the river. Delightful. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Amberg!

Summary: Be careful when booking if you are going to be there more than one night. Made the mistake of ordering the petite. It was so small we couldn't fit our luggage. They luckily had open rooms and we were able to upgrade. The bed was quite comfortable and thoroughly needed after 10 nights on Italian beds. The breakfast was filling and service great.
