“Our old car broke down late on a Sunday afternoon, leaving us needing somewhere to stay at very short notice. We didn't arrive until 7.30pm, yet our hostess and her husband couldn't have looked after us better. They were genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful after what had been a very stressful day. Although the apartment was quite compact, it had absolutely everything we needed. There was a microwave, two cooking rings, a kitchen sink, a fridge well stocked with drinks and bottled water, a small table and chairs, and enough equipment for a much longer stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery, knives and forks, plates, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, everything you could possibly need if you were staying for several days. The en suite had a good hot shower, toilet and washbasin, together with an amazing selection of toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and we were also spoilt with basketfuls of snacks and thoughtful little extras that made us feel instantly at home. Breakfast the following morning was a real feast. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, ham, a selection of cold meats, cheese, bread, cake, yoghurts, cereals, tea, coffee and bottled water, everything you could possibly want for a hearty breakfast. Sitting outside in the shade of the pine trees made it even more special. It was wonderfully peaceful, quite romantic and the perfect start to the day. The apartment is in a lovely, peaceful location and would be perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to return.”
