Summary: It's such a beautiful hotel with amazing views. Loved the complimentary breakfast and I heard afternoon tea is on the house as well! I loved the hospitality of the staff, they were all kind and helpful. Coffee and teas were available 24/7. The free bikes were a nice plus but the bikes were not good for cycling around the area, hopefully they get upgraded soon. You will need a car or bike/scooter to get around to find food at night because there are no restaurants by the hotel at night.

Summary: One of the best places I've stayed in in terms of comfort, amenities and service. The daybed overlooking the ocean is amazing, as is the kingsize bed itself as well as the japanese toilet. They have a very generous and tasty breakfast (vegetarian) and serve afternoon tea every day at 5pm with some sandwiches/cakes/fruit. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. If you don't have a car, they have bicycles you can borrow to explore the local area (check out the hidden glass beach) or they can order taxis, or share with you the schedule for the free shuttle. If you want to go further, then you will need a car to explore other parts of Yilan. The staff are very helpful with some prompting, but if the owner is there he will actively make sure that you are having a great stay
