“Amazing staff, room and breakfast. When your looking for a place to stay for your Cooperstown experience I would book your room here. Very reasonably priced, especially compared to others in the area. I would pay the extra for the terracotta room. It was great to have my own bathroom and not have to share. I would stay here again if I were coming to Cooperstown again.”

“Charming room in a historic house. Friendly host. Simple and satisfying breakfast. Coffee and snacks available 24/7. Friendly cat, who wasn't supposed to be in our part of the house, but for a few minutes, there he was. Entryway and breakfast room has literature about history of village of Laurens and the original owners of the house.”

“The Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house. ”
