Bryson Inn  |  Hotel in Mount Airy

This hotel was perfect for our trip to Mt. Airy. Room was very clean. Loved the water pressure in the shower. Enjoyed the coffee maker with the disposable coffee with filter. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was small but good. They had a waffle maker, bread to make toast, bagels, muffins, cereal and a little fruit. The price was extremely good.It was quiet and I felt safe.It IS NOT fancy,but great value I would the definitely stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

It was a good place for the money,it was sort of aggravating because there was only 1 ice machine. The staff was very friendly. All in all a good place to stay.

The staff was very friendly the room was clean and the pool was amazing. Great location very close to the Andy Griffith museum and all the tours we took. We would recommend this hotel to anybody that wanted a wonderful night stay.

Staff when at the desk ( not a sign that says call this # if you need help) Does not smile and only word she said was ID then handed me the key. Breakfast is a few items. Waffles, cereal and pastries.But pastry bread box and dining room had quite a few little fruit flies.. ( We didn’t eat there) No one arrives to start putting things in the room until 6:30 so you still wait after it opens. Rooms were dirty but not disgusting. They show shampoo conditioner and hand soap placed on the walls. the only thing that wasn’t empty was the shampoo. Saw approximately 6 cockroaches in the bathroom right before bed. I told her about it in the morning and she looked at me like ok we know. Nextdoor is a truck stop but that was fine no problem. Restaurant across the street The copper pot Pro: Excellent comfortable Beds!!! Pool was clean We will not stay again. Not a bad place but issues we don’t want again and friendliness and A smile a free. The front desk should learn this when greeting and interacting with PAYING Guest

Little or no internet service so made a business trip a bust

I've stayed at Bryson Inn for a number of years on my way south. I can say there have been updates to the rooms since last year and am thankful. Hopefully more is on the way. Thanks

The wive and I have stayed there for yrs. Used to be a very nice place to spend a night on the way to the ocean. The last few yrs it’s started to go down hill with new owners. The pool was closed because the heath department shut it down. The once generous breakfast was a disappointment had hot waffles but the orange juice was watered down to the point of no taste and the selection of other items was minimal. Took the adult kids with us this yr. Their air conditioning didn’t work their shower was ether scalding or cold and they had dead insects on their floor and they had a 14 month old with them. It’s time to explore other hotels sadly.
