“We had a very enjoyable stay with Good Food and friendly Staff. with Blickling Hall next door and lots of places to walk it was a nice quite area to explore.”

“Free parking on site. Beautiful characterful period inn with gorgeous views from bedrooms. Food, especially breakfast , very good.”

“Beautiful hotel in a lovely location, nothing negative really VIEWS next to a national trust venue View out of the bedroom overlooked the NT see images BAR But if you like to relax in the bar in the evening, they close the bar around 9.30, which could be an issue. My partner and i, bought a bottle of wine with us and sat outside until it got too cold and we retired to our room. FOOD For this reason we dod not eat our evening mael at the hotel, however we had breakfast and that was superb, quality ingredients all the way, which made us realise we had eaten elsewhere and the food in the evening would have been much better at the hotel All in all a fantastic stay PARKING Car park is small so parking is tight if you are arriving later, we arrived around 7pm and only just got into the car park,while people are just eating there or in the pub area. Just something to be aware of”

“The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and the four poster bed was lovely. Nice view of Blickling Hall which is a few minutes walk away. Good selection for breakfast and was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative I have is the bar closed at 10.00 and we were hoping to have a drink when we got back at 10.30 but not a problem.”

“Lovely stay made better with the kind , helpful and friendly staff. Especially Bryony who served us in the evening and breakfast the next day. Also the lady who ran the breakfast on the Friday and our lovely waitress on Thursday night. Your staff make this place so welcoming. Food was amazing both breakfast and evening meal. Only negative was our room needed an update, it is a lovely traditional room but had no shower screen, or proper shower, towels were thread bear and very little. Bed was a lovely four poster, but too small. Chairs by tv were uncomfortable and no plug socket near a mirror. Just minor things. Fan in the room was a big plus as the weather was incredibly hot. Hotel is in beautiful surroundings and literally a few steps to Blickling Hall.”
