“This is probably one of the best b and bs we have ever stayed in. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and all the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was superb - excellent choices well presented. The history of the building was so interesting- well done to the owners for creating a beautiful haven in Holt. I’m sure we will return.”

“Amazing hotel. Very well trained staff. The hotel had great history. Excellent dining options in the evening at great prices. Breakfast was either a light meal, included in the price or for those that need something substantial a great menu to choose from. We will definitely go again”

“Lovely and convenient place to stay. Unfortunately we were in the top room where the ceilings/ beams are very low so room didn’t feel ‘deluxe’ as advertised. Also my husband banged his head in the night on the beams (he’s on 5’ 9’.”

“Beautiful room (we stayed in 15) loved the complimentary drink in the bar and delicious cookies in the evening. Super comfy bed and pillows. Gorgeous bathroom with huge bath and shower. The breakfast was incredible, I went for the frittata which was delicious and filling my husband the full Byford. Would definitely plan on returning soon.”

“Very clean and well fitted out. Lots of nice touches, the cookies on the stairs well were super.
The guess lounge was a nice space to grab a drink.
Checking in was very slow for us. I would re-visit”
