Campanile Calais | Hotel in Calais, Hauts-de-France

“Staff were.not helpful, and although they say dogs allowed, they are not allowed in the main building, so you're forced to sit outside - even at breakfast. I've stayed in others within the chain and this is not their policies, so no, I won't be stopping at this one again.”

“Simple clean and meets our needs. Good breakfast ready to grit the road.”

“Parking difficult in the carpark”

“Good location, functional and friendly staff”

“Perfect simple overnight stay for the ferry terminal. Clean, basic, comfortable, quiet.”

“I think this is the 4th time we've stayed here and it does need refurbishment as soon as possible but it was very clean and smelled clean too. We have a little dog and there is a nice area of grass at the back and a nice walk across the road. It's quiet and there's a gate at night and it's certainly not lovely by any stretch but it's useful for our needs.”

“Easy to get to. Had parking and a bar. Room was ok for a couple of nights, but the air-conditioning was not brill. Good for a quick stay before travelling to/from UK as close to ferry and Le Shuttle.”

“The car park was filled with 2 large trucks for some cycling team. They had cables everywhere wich was dangerouse. They had parke one truck across all of the disabled car spaces. My wife is disabled so the cables and the parking was not acceptable. In the morning the cycle team manager complained that I had parked near a cone he had put in one space that was left. I told him he should not have parked across all disabled bays, He said the hotel manager had given him permision, this is not acceptable, disabled bays are for the disabled and the cables where a safety hazard. Management need to get a grip, this is not acceptable in France.”

“I have stayed in many Campanile hotels and I can’t understand why this is the only one that charges you for parking especially when it is the same as all of the others and unguarded.”

“The room was basic but comfortable and the staff were friendly”
