Positive: Authenticity and the feeling of being back in time. The bed was very comfortable, perfect for sleeping. The service staff is very friendly, the kitchen is open until 8:00 PM, but we still got dinner around 10:00 PM. Even though the lights went out for a few minutes, there were candles burning everywhere, which gave a great atmosphere and authenticity. Everything was perfect.
Negative: Everything was perfect.

The location, staff and service were exceptional… it was incredibly magical and truly a breathtaking experience… unfortunately we were a week late to experience the carnival but never the less it was amazing
Negative:
The beds in the triple room were quite uncomfortable and very squeaky
There was no shower gel / shampoo
Also no facilities to get drinkable water if arriving late so make sure to bring plenty
Summary: Great value for money for a short stay

Positive:
One of the few restored bygone era manors that operates as a hotel, too. An exception and unique experience if you are ready to embrace art deco style decorated rooms, old brick walls, old wooden windows and such. The only thing missing is a horses-drawn carriage parked in front…
Negative:
During colder months, it would probably be a bit cold as central heating wasn’t a thing a century ago. Shower is also very cramped but functional.
Summary: A unique stay at an old manorhouse
