“The Captain Thomson Resort is the best place to stay in Alexandria Bay, Great walkable location convenient to the boat tours, restaurants, gift shops, and parks, with incredible views from our balcony overlooking the marina, St Lawrence River and Heart Island and Boldt Castle. We loved our visit to the Thousand Islands area.”

“We had a great time revisiting the Alexandria Bay area. I highly recommend staying at Capt Thompson resort. The pool area is a nice place to hang out and visit with each other. We had a great meal at Bonnie Castle too. The resort is centrally located so within walking distance to the shops and boat tours. Enjoy!”

“Nicely laid out, our room had a great view of the Boldt Castle. My wife and I (both senior citizens) were very appreciative of the staff, who went above and beyond, to assist us with our luggage. The only downside was that every morning our balcony was covered with dead insects, and the only one who controls that is mother nature. Very enjoyable stay.”

“Great location with great view of the Boldt Castle. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the town with lots of dining choices. Ship tour is right next door. Too bad there is no elevator for the 2nd floor. Highly recommended.”
