Positive: Casa Baraquel was my absolute favorite hotel during my stay in Peru! The bed was comfortable, the room was great, the backyard where we could have breakfast (which was tasty) was very pretty, and we could walk from there to the center of Arequipa as well (about 20 mins walk). All the staff was very nice and helpful. My boyfriend got quite sick (nothing related to the hotel) and they were really helpful, trying to help him get better. I would recommend 100% and would go back anytime!!

Positive: The owner was fabulous and super accommodating to our every need no matter what our request was day or night. Lovely to have got fresh papaya juice just after checking in!
Negative: Perhaps the location was a bit far from the centre but that meant it was perfectly silent at night time so sleep was easy!
Summary: It was fabulous. The owner was great and made us an exceptional breakfast!
