Casa Liquen Reviews
“Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with stunning architecture! We loved our big room and sunny patio and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Adriana, who owns the hotel, is super nice and gave us great tips what to explore in the area. The hotel is very close to the beach and we were able to borrow umbrellas and beach chairs which was great. Would love to come back soon! ”
“The staff is lovely, the design of the hotel is beautiful, it’s a very short walk to the beach.”
“Chacala is definitely off the beaten path. The streets are rough and the shops are limited. However, the beach is terrific. The people are friendly and the pace of life is lovely. The Casa. Liquen hotel is owned and operated bye a welcoming, warm and friendly woman with enough energy for three people. When you stay here, you feel like you’re staying with a friend. The hotel is 3 or 4 years old and in good condition, very clean, but what sets it apart are the friendly staff. We did an early morning hike right from the hotel up to a lovely viewpoint above town that sits on the edge of an ancient volcano. While I was there, I caught one of the most beautiful sunsets I can recall. This town and the hotel are not for everybody. It took me a bit to catch the vibe, but once I did, I really liked it. This is a special place to slow down, unplug and relax. No bar scene, no fancy restaurants. Lots of families enjoying an authentic rustic Mexican village by the sea. ”
