“We wouldn't stay here again. The hotel needed repairs. The frame on door to the bathroom was broken so we were not able to shut the door.
When we first got there the guy at the desk was trying to double charge me for the room that I had already paid through Expedia. He said I hadn't pain and wanted my credit card. I am glad I brought the receipt with me showing it had been paid.”

“The hotel is ok but we stays 2 nights and we never had hot water which is the minimum of service for an hotel .
The closest property neighbor owns 3 dogs and they are outside night and day . I let you imagine .
They don't have anything for sale ( drink or food not even a bottle of water ) .
They have 4 spaces in the garage which was good for us .
30 minutes if distance by foot from the center . Good to know .
The 203 room is small and there is the strict minimum . Goot to know .

“Great place to stay though it’s a walk to town and we found local food places poor. Great cafe on local ‘lake’ up the road for view. Comfortable. A few niggles. Limited clothes storage, coffee machine off , really hard to get water between boiling and cold. Room was small but good. ”

“The property is called Casa Nada because there is no restaurant. This is a stately old home which has been recently renovated. The owners live on one side, the other side has been developed into a ten room hotel. Daily room cleaning and towel changing is provided fresh clean everything. The hotel staff are students from the University of Guanajuato studying Tourism and other disciplines. I'm a single woman traveling alone, they made me feel like I was visiting friends. (Good to tip them when you leave.) Everyone was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Some people speak basic English. The house is located in a square of grand old homes many which are being converted and remodeled, schools, government offices. The traffic flows in one direction around a lovely park, dam and lake area popular with local tourists. ”
