“Great boutique hotel in a central location. We had a smaller room but it was comfortable and the staff was beyond many others we stayed at during our Swiss trip. Breakfast was one of the best and staff was amazing!”

“It was hot in Lucerne. Wish they had air on lower for us. It took a very long time to cool down. Otherwise, nice hotel next to train station.”

“Close to the bahnhof and easy bus transportation to the old town. Staff is extremely helpful (shoutout to Alexandra) and the bed was super comfortable. Their breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. Plenty of walkable shops and restaurants.”

“Great location, friendly staff, free mini bar in the room, free bike rental! Everything about the hotel was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the bathroom layout in our room felt a bit awkward. The toilet is positioned right up against the sink counter, making it nearly impossible to stand up without hitting your face or head on the vanity edge. I’m not sure if this tight fit is specific to this particular room (314), but a bit more clearance would make a huge difference. Aside from that design hiccup, we enjoyed our stay!”

“We loved our stay here. The AC was great since it was hot when we were there. The staff was kind and helpful. There is free still and sparkling water on tap in the lobby to refill water bottles and the beds were cozy and comfortable.”

“Very good location, less than 10 minutes to the train station and Chape Bridge. The room is tiny, but still good enough for our three adults. My husband likes the glass water bottle with Cascade very much.”

“Everything about this hotel was outstanding. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and quick to provide ideas on where to go and what to do. Rooms were very clean and updated. Location was perfect. Will certainly stay here again.”

“The hotel’s location is within walking distance from the train station. We were fortunate to be able to get into our room early (1pm instead of 3). We paid for a deluxe room and it was pretty small (it had room for 1 small chair). This hotel was the costliest of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip (Zürich, Interlaken and Bellaggio Lake Como). It cost us almost $600 USD per night and breakfast was not included. The à la carte breakfast was incredibly penurious. The croissants were minuscule and not served with butter or jam. The jam cost another 1 Swiss francs. Tap water had to be paid for too. The yoghurt served was small. We heard the onsite Spanish tapas restaurant was very good so we tried it. The seafood paella was not good and a couple of the mussels smelled bad. Frankly all of the food was mediocre at best and unappetizing at worst. FYI we spent 11 days in Madrid and Galicia Spain last year so we are well acquainted with excellent tapas and Bolero fell WAY SHORT. All in all we wouldn’t stay here again.”
