Amazing night away with friends. Castle was decorated for Halloween. October was a great time to visit.

Great views and cool to stay in a castle and history. Rooms are big and clean w/fridge. Only problem and maube since offseason the bar was closed and front desk didnt offer anything for sale (ex. Water, soda,snacks, alcohol/wine) which means you have to drive down the hill to go a gas station or store. Also, for the price the breakfast is really poor (continental style) that is lacking basic stuff you would get at other hotels(lacking any eggs,toast,bacon,potatoes) which for no resturants in walking distance they should offer but if ur good with a bagel,grapes,muffin and coffee/juice then u will be fine.

Nayouir ( forgive me if I misspelled) at front desk responded to my concerns in a very professional manner. He listened attentively and acted with care and class in finding a solution.

Everything was good except disappointed there was no restaurant open.

This facility is drifting to a not good place. The room was so basic there wasn't even a bar of soap to wash with in the shower. The restaurant is closed and when asked why, the staff said the owner can't lease it. There were no services if you didn't use the spa. Then all you got was a bare room and that's it. Not even a brochure about the area and shopping. Nothing. For the cost: Not worth it.

The hotel is not luxury, in any way. All the amenities were closed for the foreseeable future, including both the spa (it's in the name of the hotel) and the on-site restaurant. The whole place feels old and tired. The room was fine- spacious and beds were comfy- but so dated. Old carpets, furniture all banged up and the bathroom was decorated 40 years ago and not touched since. I would never go back nor would I recommend this hotel. We also were not told the spa was closed. We booked for a SPA WEEKEND. The website had no information about it being closed, and we were able to book spa appointments weeks in advance. We even got confirmations of our appointments two days before but they were actually closed and no spa appointments nor spa weekend for us. Do yourself a favor and don't book here. For $400 a night, I expect way better.

A short but lovely stay. The property is beautiful, staff friendly, and rooms comfortable and spacious. It was a very unique place to stay.

At first glance the impression is wow. The hotel is beautiful. But the customer service is definitely not up to par. We are only there for one night and it was a fiasco. The fire alarm went off 9 times between the hours of 1230 am and 3:30 am forcing us to evacuate our rooms three times. What makes matters worse is that this happened the night before and the guest began checking out at 3 am. The one hotel representative at the front desk was frustrated and had no answers. The following morning you would think the hotel manager would show up and speak to the guests. And everyone that was checking out was asking for some type of compensation but the front desk clerk said they had no authority. That place can be a perfect getaway. But it definitely needs new management

The hotel, rooms, and grounds are amazing and well kept. Feels like you are miles from NYC while you are only minutes away. Only negative is the food. There is no restaurant on site and breakfast was items you can buy from 7/11 (except the fresh fruit).
